Malcolm Reynolds, from Firefly.
Which was cancelled by FOX, because that network is a whore that kills beautiful things. But then the movie 'Serenity' was released to tie a few things up, and serve as some measure of closure.

Why? Formerly a Sgt on the losing side of the war for independence against the Alliance, Mal decided to say 'fuck the world, then.' His faith broken, he bought a ship, eventually found a crew that became adopted family, and worked smuggling jobs under the Alliance's nose. He seems to have a penchant for wanting inappropriate, unattainable women, and is overall a mellow, welcoming, funny guy - until provoked.
Then there's a whole different side to Captain Tightpants.

So, for the next player -
If you could choose to have one superpower, which would it be, and why?

All the animals.

Uh.. Dogs, Cats, Horses, Ravens/Crows, Birds of Pray, wolves, big cats, bears, ummm...

Not spiders though, or bees. (honey bees are fine, so long as they stay the fuck away from me). Burn those with fire. >(

I have the current standard lesbian ships. Clark/Lexa (The 100) Jane/Maura (Rizzoli&Isles) Skye/Jemma aka Skimmons (Agents of Shield), Korra/Asumi (Legend of Korra). Female Inquisitor/Josephine (Dragon Age Inquisition)

And of course crack ships. And het ships, and across all sorts of fandoms.
