Video games anyone?

I'm currently mobbing Diablo 3 on PC.

And I keep eyeballing No Man's Sky.

I'm mostly a RPG girl, though I do like Indi survival games like 7 days and shit, if I got someone to play with

Starky has an 'issue' when it comes to videogames. I chalk it up to a childhood of deprivation, where I had to scrimp and save just to get one videogame every so often to tide me over through the 'joy' of growing up as the local 'weird girl who looks like a boy' with white-trash, dysfunctional parents (complete with trailer).

So once I went on my own at 16, and had a job with a bit of disposable income... I can tell you right where that went.
And where a good portion STILL goes.
I have emulators and roms for the old hardware systems I don't have anymore.
I have a steam account with far too many 'steam sale!' bargains that have never even been booted up once.
I have all Nintendo/Sony handheld consoles dating back to the Gameboy Advance (which played original and color games too, so, covered...)
I have all the Playstations.. and Wii/Wii U.. had an original Xbox for Morrowind, had an Xbox360 for Fable 2, but gave that way..

I own games I forgot I even bought. And yes, most of them are RPGs because I am always afraid if I wait to buy them later I won't find them, or will have to pay triple price on ebay. >_<

When will I even have time to play these games? I... I don't know.. I only know I am so happy when I DO play them...

And Skyrim is awesome, especially with Nordic Dany BURNING THINGS! (My playthrough was what actually inspired the Arya with Nordic tattoos headcanon)

PFFF, the first time I ever had disposable income, I pretty much went to the SAME places XDD

We sorta had the same experience I guess, not much money for video games But I don't have that many consoles still, since I'm mostly a PC guy (I think I'm more interested in modding stuff these days xD). I only ever sated my need with emulators and ROMS!

And when the next steam sale comes up, you can bet you'll see me running around in this forum shouting "STEAM SALE!" over and over like a loon xD Steam sales. Are. Evil.

I still have my old consoles too ey I just don't have room for em anymore. Shit, I think my old famicom's still hidden somewhere 'round here too, jeeze

A support group of video game hoarders who have too many games on Steam and goes nuts on Steam Sales? Why not?

Also. I notice that Sony has two new games, both staring scruffy white guys. I suppose since one is naked Daral from TWD, its slightly better, because at least for the straight lady gamers, its a hot scruffy white guy.

I'm waiting for the eventual count of games announced with scruffy white guys as the player character. It'll happen. I'm pretty sure it happened last year.

With out paying any attention to E3 at all, I know of at least 3 so far.. oh wait. FF15 is a sausage fest that has yaoi fangirls salavating. so I'm counting that one too.

I'll wait until its all over and people have had a chance to write up a break down before I go hunting for trailers, and start thinking about what I want to throw my money at in the coming year or so.
