With the death of Rhaegal (Euron's fleet) and Missandei (decapitated by the Mountain at Cersei's command in front of Dany & Co) coming up next ep, you can bet they are going to fuel that 'Mad Queen Dany' fire.
Insure your T.V. Insure your kids, insure your wife, insure your husband, 'cause they killin' everybody out here.
AND that all was leaked previously by the leaker that said Jon will kill Dany this season. It is End of Days people!!!!!!
At least they also said that Arya is leaving Gendry (hope that is true)
GUYS!!!!! I can't with these freaking leaks!! D&D have gone batshit crazy. That's literally the only explanation for such a dumbass storyline. I can 100% see Varys betraying Dany and Arya turning down Gendry (her sleeping with him in the first place was stupid). That's all well and good. Euron managing to hit a dragon from a ship actually on the water? I have to call bullshit. D&D have managed to surpass really bad fanfiction if these leaks are true.
Here's hoping they're false flags since they did come out before the season even started saying that they shot multiple endings.

He hit Viserion THREE times, from a ship
That's what I'm saying is flat out bullshit! Bronn managed one hit from solid ground and even that was implausible as hell, three hits in like 10 seconds. Lord jesus these guys are hacks. What is the point of him even surviving the long night. He collapsed during the episode and that's the last we see of him, could've easily explained that as "oh yeah he died".
My desire to finish out the season just plummeted and is now hovering at like 5%.

I am hoping this inspires people to write some fix-it fics because we are going to need them

100% agree. It can't end like this. This is straight up True Blood/Dexter/Lost level awful.
Not one fucking word exchanged between them. Not even ONE.
And no. A cheap, half-assed toast to Arya Stark, Hero of Winterfell doesn't count as any form of conversation.
There's literally -nothing- to build on. Not even a single word. What a goddam waste.
Right with ya! I was so hoping for some words between the two, but no just some light acknowledgment and that's it! And it was the only acknowledgment for what arya did besides the hound calling her a hero. Ugh. This episode let down hard.
But Dany will forever be my Queen, they are trying to do her dirty by going the 'mad queen' route. She lost everything, literally everything in the last few episodes. If jon had lost Sam, arya or sansa beheaded in front of him, ghost shot through the neck and dany became his enemy all in such a short time frame no one would bat a eye if he wanted to burn king's landing to the ground. If he ends up on the throne I'll be so pissed.
I've read them. That 5% is literally my last hope that they're not THAT awful
I consider you an optimist
Firmly sub zero enthusiasm after this episode.
Holy wow they're doing Dany so damn dirty. None of the characters' actions make any kind of sense. Sansa and Arya should be chomping at the bit to finally avenge their family by going after Cersei. I've actually seen people defend Euron's sniping as plausible. Varys is turning on Dany because she gets mad once in awhile? Cersei had net zero consequences for blowing up the Sept of Baelor. Makes no sense that the people of Kingslanding are thanking her for protecting them by letting them into the Red Keep because the Dragon Queen might burn them alive (please forget that Cersei already burned people alive, not to mention has been letting them starve the last few seasons).
I could seriously go on and on. I'm honestly salty as hell and 100000% done.
I wanted to add to the obvious nonsense of it all but ya'll already summed it up, and then some. My only concern now was Arya's line that she will not be returning. Wolves don't do well South. It is obvious her and Sandor are going to Kingslanding, but what did she mean? Can we have her finally going West of Westeros? Oh to dream, Missandei and Greyworm were going to Naath. Only thing that gives me hope is the leaks that she lives, as for Dany, it doesn't look so good.
Jon, was as usual, worthless. Sansa seems to be the new Littlefinger, Bran, Sigh, no comment. Dany is considered the 'Mad Queen'. Jaime, hit it and quit it. Euron can hit a moving target 3 time from a moving ship. Cersei is somehow a genius.
I am with Lady Oleana ('Be a dragon' and 'Stop listening to clever men') and Missandie (Dracarys)
Save yourself and do not watch the inside the episode, I made that mistake. D&D are idiots and if it is true, and GRRM has the same ending he is an idiot too.
GRRM has been very upfront about a bittersweet ending. Imo Jon never played into those plans so HBO forced that issue, and while the events may be different I think the result will end up the same

Unfortunately this is 100% correct. While the journey itself has changed, the ending for the show is going to mirror the books pretty closely. GRRM has confirmed it a few times.
If Jon becomes a Queenslayer, that was the plan. If Sansa manipulates herself to the throne, that was the plan.
Ugh. I wish I'd never found the damn books back in 2000...
