Unfortunately I think her being the prince/princess that was promised or Azhor Ahai is totally a show invention. I have been trying to rack my brain for a way for her to match the prophesy to see if I can write a fic about it, but I can't find a way thus far. I will work on it.

I agree that it was a show adaptation. But in the show they never went full into the prophesy. The books could easily turn out differently. The only theory i heard that might fit was instead of the blade being forged by killing the princes true love, the dagger was the key piece that set in motion events that lead to Aryas family being destroyed and killed.

Arya wouldn't have come North if Jon hadn't been brought back. Not to say Sansa and the knights of the Vale wouldn't have won the Battle, but would the battle have even happened if it was just Sansa trying to rally the northerners and wildlings together? I doubt the wildlings would even involve themselves at all.

I laugh hysterically at all these people hating D&D for episode 8x3. I say welcome to the club, where have ya'll been?

All of a sudden they are shit writers. Where were these people since season 4 or 5? They were fine with Carl Tanner of Gin Alley (Craster's Keep), Bad Pussy AND Sansa and Ramsey wedding night, but Arya kills the Night King instead of Jon 'NOW WE RIOT' Pfft.

I get hating TV Jon, but I don't wanna like, immediately let my opinions of the character affect my opinions of the actors and actresses that play them haha

I think it was all good fun for the actors. Maisie didn't seem to be upset by the reactions from Kit at all

UM: NEWSFLASH: D&D have ALWAYS BEEN shit writers. They singlehandedly ruined ONE genre show they did before this one. It was called Beauty and the Beast. Let's put it this way: the woman who played Beauty (Catherine in the show) vowed she would never work with them again. That woman? Linda Hamilton. Yes, THAT Linda Hamilton Sarah Connor herself.
I find the "Arya is a Mary Sue" bullshit to be just that-BULLSHIT tinged with MORE than a little mysogony.

I blame them on a lot of things but can't on that one. GRRM wrote that, it went to shit when he left. However, you can blame Benioff for Troy and X-men Origins Wolverine. Both for their idea of the HBO show Confederate (which never aired, thank god)

Gemini Man and a new Star Wars trilogy that has not come out yet, we shall see how they do.
