Peacoats are awesome. I've had one kicking around ever since I saw Boondock Saints (still love that flick).
Now. What I really need is a nice fitted suit.
What we all need is a trip to Bindle and Keep in NYC. When I finally win the lottery, I'm bringing all of House Danarya there with me to get suited up.
sounds fancy. Which is good because my short ass would be stuck in a boys suit. And while I look fucking finnnnee. It's still the boxy lines of a dudes suit
These angels make magic. There would be no boxy lines, and you would feel as badass as you really are when they were through.
Reminds me of Saint Harridan. Though sadly they closed.
Getting suits or really any clothing is hard cause I'm A; basically built like a boy, but I'm not, so there is the issue of hips/thighs/butt/bust. And B: I'm poor.

Don't feel too bad about this. Even with a masculine physique (tiny chest, narrow hips, basic-business only backside) most suits do NOT fit properly. Why?
Because most suits don't fit men properly either.
I'm not rich by any means.. but I have a childhood friend who does come from money. And it was from her family I learned that while most 'off the rack' clothing could suffice for anyone within certain measurements, suits are another story. You need those tailored to do your body justice, male or female. And those who can't buy one (ie, you and me and probably most of this board) need to rent them for special occassions, because when you rent from a reputable shop they actually take measurements and adjust seams etc. for you.

And that helps a lot.
Long torso, wide shoulders for my build.... I'm basically Arya syark.
Yeaaahhh. When it comes to suits you should always get it tailored. And a good suit last years. And are always in fashion.

Since you're also probably the shortest of us all... yeah XD pretty much sums it up. But (especially around here), that is a Very Good Thing.

Exactly. Unless it's a plaid suit. Or a Miami-vice type white/pastel suit.
Then that shit is done and you are fucked.
I'm 5'0/5'1 which is.. 152/154cm? Like my work pants are size 16 boys pants. And i wear the same size boys dress shoe as my friends 9 year old son. And like a medium boys tshirt.
I joke in the sca that when I get into heavy fighting. In a war battle they could just "toss the dwarf" snice a lot of the men in the local sca are all over six feet and soild walls of manflesh.
Well, I'm a 'giant' 5'6, which still seems to be shorter than almost everyone around me - so I can only imagine your pain XD
((one advantage - kids' clothes are always cheaper. So you can be rockin' maximum style for half the price, which is always a good thing))
And never underestimate the value of 'toss the dwarf'. Or Tyrion will have words with you. =P
Bras are also cheap cause I'm not blessed up top.
And boys pants have pockets. And their shirts have proper fucking sleeves and neck line. Plus, boxers make great pjs.
I am smol. And this is okay.
Woman's slack have no pockets or they have fake pockets you need to cut stitches in to use. I prefer men's shirt they have cooler patterns.
“I’m not a Lady, I’m a Wolf!” "He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee." The tormentor becomes the tormented. People become what they love and hate, because their mind focuses on it."

I'm so in! (and I'll even pack my 15 year old androgynous faux-motorcycle Mandarin collar leather jacket to keep me warm)
No matches on the knuckles though, they're ripped open from 5-10% bleach solution in work's port-o-potty sinks.
Be the change you want to see in the world.
Because if that's the line that reeled in Starky, someone else could be out there too, waiting for the courage to step forward and share their thoughts and talents. We're really not as scary as you might think

Starky, you're not That giant, you only have 2 inches on me, though MrsMunky is about the size of Revan (she Says she's 5'1", but I still have to reach everything in the cupboards...), so I only feel short at work and not at home.

Like me, I'm sure MrsMunky is 5'1 when she first rolls out of bed in the morning.... and on all documentation
Head canon check: What temperature are fire wights?
Fever hot, normal person hot, room/environmental temperature or cool to the touch because not quite alive?

Oh, that comment was completely in jest XD in our modern world, 5'6 is in no way 'tall'. I've never had the privilege of feeling more than 'short and scrappy' anywhere.

To be honest, I don't think any of us know. I don't remember Beric's temperature ever being discussed, and in the novels Jon has not been revived yet, and no word about temp from HBO so... open to interpretation. Unless someone else has more info?
Welcome~ This forum is a place for all Dany x Arya shippers to meet up and discuss the world, the lore, and the wonderful characters who make this ship! Have fun, everyone!
