Seriously tho. If there's one thing RB proved it's that there's no way GRRM is working on book six. I did 30000 (more when you consider the attempt at smut and the scraped second or third part) in 3 weeks. He had 6/7 years.

AKA, I don't ever Need to write or finish WoW/ASOIAF, I'll just wait for HBO to do it in 2019 and roll around in my money bin in the meantime, expanding upon my world building notes instead of generating new content and finishing up the series I have spread across too many cultures and continents to tie up properly.
Be the change you want to see in the world.
Because if that's the line that reeled in Starky, someone else could be out there too, waiting for the courage to step forward and share their thoughts and talents. We're really not as scary as you might think

The Targaryen history really does not need to be expanded on. They are the only noble House with a semi flushed out history.
And while the Dance of Dragons would be interesting to see. If I had to pick a time for him to expand on and even do a show on I'd chose Aegon's Conquest because warrior queen
I know this is an old Thread but still, the whole book writing of Martin gets a bit on my nerves. He wanted to release "Winds of Winter" a lot earlier and now we are all still waiting for it. Maybe if you get famous you loose your muse or Motivation since, you don't have to write it anymore?
For some reason this all feels a bit like the books from "Robert Jordan - The Wheel of time" that book series wouldn't and wouldn'T end and later he died, without finishing it. Even if someone finished it a few years back, i can't chake the feleing this will happen to Martin.
