Inserting Images in Posts

Ah, true, the message board doesn't upload directly from your hard drive. It displays images already posted on the internet.

An easy way to take care of this is to just register at a simple photo hosting site, load your pic, and then link the URL here. You can use any that you want, I use this one: postimage.org/

Sign up is at the top right of the page, they e-mail you a password and that's it - easy as pie.

Also, just to add to starky's helpful tip, another way to insert an image is to click on 'Add Attachment' next to the subject bar





Just click on the button highlighted above, which will prompt another window asking you to 'Add Files'. Please note, the number of files you can insert is limited 1 MB per attachment.

It will take a while to upload. When it finishes, you can 'Insert' the image to your post:




Admittedly, this way is a bit limiting, and it will turn the image into a thumbnail which must be clicked to be viewed. But yep, the more you know
