But... my spite is ebbing this morning. I re-watched that whole sequence with Arya, and, I'm not trying to go all tinfoil hat - but something was off. I don't know if that was actually Arya stabbed. In fact, I'm wondering if the FM were actually setting up to get rid of the Waif, who -clearly- is not 'No One' with all of those big jealous/vindictive emotions running around. Arya's mannerisms, her facial expressions, her sudden bags of money as she strolled through the streets with her arms behind her back pre-stab.. That all screamed 'Jaqen', not Arya. But the biggest tipoff? No Needle. She knew a showdown was coming. She had Needle with her in that hidey-hole, waiting.
And in next weeks preview we have her running around jumping buildings all parkour style - unless a LOT of time has passed between the eps, um... no way she's pulling that off with her guts skewered. Nope.
Spite!Fic will remain on the shelf until I see more. There may be redemption.
Hmm, true. In fact I just watched the episode today, and did feel something was off lol
But the last bit was still a heart clincher for me D:
Can't wait to see the next episode I suppose. I GUESS? Since I don't find any particular enjoyment watching other characters' bits anyway xD I'm only in it for the Assassin's Creed Face order, and Arya doing parkour

Next ep is titled 'No One' - so, it's either going to make us very happy, or make us shun the whole bloody series lol

Win/win situation I suppose. Upside of shipping a pairing that will most likely never be~
But yeh, I gotta say, The Hound's bit in this episode sort of felt like something out of a trope-filled film where a tough guy has to fight after getting innocent people killed or whatnot. You guys know the one. All it needed were a couple of doves, and it could've been something straight out of a John Woo film xD
Yes, the 'legendary warrior retires, and finds a life of peace - only to have it destroyed before his very eyes, sending him back out on the bloody road to vengeance' trope.
I gotta wonder of that girl is sitting at home, watching the outpouring of "Bear Cub is badass" and just loving it.
I can just imagine her on her couch with a little set of shades on, bein' all like - "that's right, bitches."
It does let me know that my head canon for Dacy mormont is fairly spot on as far as personality wise goes. The ladies of Bear Island are apparently some tough bitches.

Entirely true. Really, the only shitty thing to come out of Bear Island was Jorah - and, well, he's as good as gone anyways. XD Everything else is A+

Jorat can go jump into the smoke sea and die already for all I care. Or wonder into the Red wastes and die. I dont know. dont care. He brings dishonor on his house, his family. AND his cow! Shame shame shame. >(
But the ladies! Ladies of Bear island are best, as is Bear Cubs late uncle Lord Commander Bear.
