 Okay. So theres two different types of RP. 

1. D20; which is your dungeons and dragons, which uses status and dice rolls to dictate what your character can and can not do, and rather or not they are successful in that action. - this however requires a dice function on whatever website or chat program you are using however 

2. Narrative; which is more like writing a story, doesnt involve status and dice rolls (usually) and in practice is basically like writing snippets with a group of people where each of you controls one or more characters. - This style is a little more tricky because it requires a greater depth of communication and cooperation between players. And what your character can or can not do is dedicated more by your character's background, rather then a list of skills on a character sheet. 

There are also two main base types; Fourm Based RP and Chat Base RP. 

Chat Base is faster, as the rp literally happens as quickly as you can type. Its excellent for small groups or one on one rps. (Not so great for groups larger then like 3 or 4 tho.) But it can only happen when the players are actively online. - Chat base is actually how I first started rping. And when we do Snippets on the Discord, its pretty much works like chat based narrative rp. 

Forum Based; which is what we will be doing is slower. But you can write longer posts. Its easier to play more then one character at the same time. And it doesnt require all players being on at the same time, and the characters can be spread out within the universe and all players would be aware of whats happening since its all easily accessible. (with the exception of private rps, but we'll get to that in the rules)

What we will be doing is a Narrative forum based rp.  

Surely there are more people interested in a got rp.
