Being -forced- to write does not make for a happy muse. At all.

I mean, unless you are an author and it's actually your living, then it's not just a hobby - but I started researching that, thinking I may take the plunge into some original fiction one day, and in 99% of cases you still need a day job. 'Cause unless you are a smashing success, and/or get extra cash from selling screenplay rights, you don't make nearly enough to qualify as a living.

So even published authors still only do it after their 'real jobs', qualifying it as a hobby.

Taking a job as a writer's a hit and miss for any people, myself included The moment I told myself it's better to see myself as a storyteller instead of a writer, it was like unshackling myself from tons of expectations.

Feel free to join any time, revanstar! No worries at all, especially since the aim of the game is to have fun.

Y'know, on another note, I was thinking about setting up a thread for writers somewhere around here! Just something to help encourage and support our humble little group of wordsmiths. Pep talks, and tips, and maybe a place where someone can ask for help? What do you all think?
