I have quite accidentally stumbled across some one who ships Dany/Jorah. In a femslash fb group of all places.

On the bright side, they dont ship Jon/Dany. Soooo.

Still. I felt compelled to point out the ick factor in the ship because of the significant age gap, and the fact that Dany was 13/16 (books/show) when Jorah first swore his sword to her; while he was in his mid forties. (Its a staggering difference of 28 years between them using show ages - He is literally more then twice her age.)

I call this person's taste into question even further as they also dont ship Doctor/River nor Docubus.

I just felt that this surprising run in should be shared with the rest of the house since it does pertain to the dragon queen.

Missandei/Arya Stark/Daenerys Targaryen - If theres any consolation to the above its that this tag also is a thing, theres only one story for it. And surprise surprise, its by Dayz. xD

Jon Snow/Sansa Stark/Daenerys Targaryen - Jfc, really? Theres 24 of these. why the fuck?? Arg.

Jon Snow/Catelyn Stark -For shits and giggles I searched this. And wow. There are 32 stories with this tag. Anyone wanna bet its mostly mommy issues stuff?

Arya Stark/Brienne of Tarth - This one surprised me. Tol and Smol. I cant say it doesnt intrige me. Only 4 stories tho.

Yara Greyjoy/Daenerys Targaryen - I know I know. No one here wants to hear this. But theres good news. Theres only 64 works with this tag, our tag has 79

Petyr Baelish/Sansa Stark - Arg. Gross. Why the fuck is there 1081 works with this tag? What is wrong with these people. This is more creepier then Dany/Jorah. And just as bad as Ramsay/Sansa tbh.

Sandor Clegane/Arya Stark - 56....stories... shes.... fucking... 11 at the start of the show, 14 or so when she leaves him to die? . nine to eleven in the books. Fucking gross.

Robb Stark/Daenerys Targaryen - Why the fuck? 80 works? HES BEEN DEAD FOR YEARS THO. AND HE HAD BEEN MARRIED.

Oberyn Martell/Sansa Stark & Oberyn Martell/Ellaria Sand/Sansa Stark - 'ello 'ello. Heres a match up I hadnt considered before. Granted, this as the same age issues as Dany/Jorah given that Oberyn is 40 in 298AC. But with a grown up Sansa from later seasons, it stops being creepy. Unlike Jorah/Dany, which is always creepy no matter how old Dany is. Plus. Sansa in a healthy fucking relationship is a ship I will always ship. 105/31 works respectively.

Conclusion: I am literally browsing the F/F tag. I have that filter selected. And I am getting so many Jon/Insert Character Here. Its stupid. Gay, Straight. One thing is for sure, Jon Snow is a whore. It is Known.

Probably a kinky one, with a ton of fire play, because Mel has basically attempted to seduce every other wannabe Azor Ahai at this point, so why not the one that actually woke dragons from stone?

Edit: Also, unlike every other weird ass impossible pairing, they've Actually Met On Screen.

And for Revan's other sludging through mire, I think the one Jon/Cat fic I saw forever and a day ago was lonely Cat alone with her husband's now strapping and virile bastard while everyone else is away, and it's not incest if he's not hers, right? ::shudder::

I don't mind Oberyn and Sansa really. She could stand to loosen up and Doran probably wants his brother to have at least a few legitimate kids cause the Martell name doesn't have a lot of members.

As someone who has been attracted to women 10 or so years older then my self more often then not I'm not a stranger to age gaps. But theres a difference between someone who is in the mid to late twenties flirting with a 17 year old and someone in their forties lusting hard for someone who has barely had her first period. (Littlefinger and Sansa as an example here)

I've shipped age gap ships before. But thats healthy examples.. not.... Jorah/Dany ick

Its Sansa/Oberyn. -And Oberyn/Sansa/Elleria tbh... Same fandom, different ship. Sansa has always been one of those characters thats difficult to ship because I honestly ship her with happiness. But my ships for her have waxed and waned with the moon. I mean. Theres Sansa/Margarey which I shipped for the longest time. And Sansa/Brienne, but that died with visions of her big giant red headed babies. -sighs-. I even sorta ship her with Tyrion. Show Tyrion, not book Tyrion who is horribly maimed from the Battle of Black Water. And even Sansa/Gendry. and of course my guilty ship of Sansa/Jon.

And theres surprisingly good fanfiction for Sansa/Oberyn. Which... arg. Nothing sucks me into a ship harder then good fanfiction.

Actually The Martells as a whole are awesome. And its a shame that the show butchered the Dornish plotline and reduced them to short sighted and oversexed. -sighs-

As for shipping Dany/other or Arya/Other... only as a BrOTP/bromance. For example Dany/Missandie is a brotp.

Unfortunately. my new ship doesnt fit into any of my current stories. In FF Sansa is with Mya, and in my unnamed Domestic!Dany fic, shes married to Jon. And tbh, off the top of my head, at this moment, the easiest plot bunny to work my new ship into would be a Ward!Arya story where Arya, instead of staying in King's Landing when she goes south with her father and sister, is sent on to Dorne to be fostered by House Martell. She would def want vengance for her family, and the Martells would def support that. And Arya would force the issue about getting her sister out of King's Landing, because she would know just what sort of monster Joffery actually is.
