With all of the pre-existing shitshow having to be considered, accounted for, and included - this is one thing in particular I would do:
In the 'GRRM-esque' tradition of bringing things 'full circle', I would have Jaime die, very honorably, in order to save Bran Stark (and whoever he may be with at the time of Wight Attack). To give his life in order to save the boy he had crippled, with his newfound sense of honor, would be the right move IMHO.
And then, well, we all know his face would be put to good use after that..
That being said, we can expect something shitty, shabby, and disappointing instead. Like usual. Because Starky is certainly NOT writing Season 8, or we would all be So Much Happier...

I think i speak for everyone when I say that S8 can take all the time in the word to air.
Do not fuck a fuck. Cause none of us are writing it.
I mean. Obviously any one of us could take the shit show as it stands and do a better job.
That is how i kind of think of use fan fiction writers. We are writing what should have been written. i gave up on HBO after season 2.
I like the Jammie idea you had there Starky. i could never kill him off though. i like him and Cersei too much. Jamie will save the day at the end of Insurrection someday.
I agree with you Starky. It would be a fitting end.
Now clue why but i believe that the whole North will fall, when the White Walkers attack, everyone left behind getting turned into undead. They living will have to get back further and further, until the whole fight is in the soth later and everyone not believeing will simply have to fight for their lifes.

I get that impression as well. I think it would be better if the whole North and Dany’s armies fought and bonded together due to fighting the impossible odds. They could have all sorts of in jokes that the Southerns don’t get and it makes the Southerns angry. Meanwhile the Southerns all think Whtie Walkers are still just myths. Except Cersi’s court who saw the undead but even then they don’t really get it.

A bond over the horror witnessed together and that the rest of the world is ignorant of it make for good tight bonds especially when lead by beloved commanders. Ones you follow to the pits and back.
“I’m not a Lady, I’m a Wolf!” "He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee." The tormentor becomes the tormented. People become what they love and hate, because their mind focuses on it."

Yes! Exactly. I half think that’s why the North seems so well bonded. Granted it’s been a while for them but “the North remembers” they seen some shit together.

And a whole lot of shit yet to come. It is not over yet.
