But it seems that TV Jon would wash his hands for the Iron Throne in a heartbeat.
Yup. HBO!Jon is quite a douche, comparatively.
Something that really burned me and Revan addressed in Red Blossoms was Jon taking credit for actions and victories that were never his.
“I’m not a Lady, I’m a Wolf!” "He who fights with monsters should be careful lest he thereby become a monster. And if thou gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee." The tormentor becomes the tormented. People become what they love and hate, because their mind focuses on it."
Yeah, when he was named Kinginnanorth! and the lords were shouting about how he had avenged the Red Wedding, I wanted to put my fist through the TV -_-;;
But if anyone needs some more solid evidence of the major differences between Book!Jon (who I actually like as a character), and HBO!Jon, they only need to watch his angry reaction when he gets that raven informing him that Bran and Arya are still alive and back at Winterfell. Even Dany questions why he doesn't seem happy about the news.

Exactly I was expecting an emotional moment, but that emotion I was expecting wasn’t anger.

From here on out HBO!Jon should be known as JoHn(because of the H for HBO and because he's hella different from his book counterpart) SNo(because just No).

For me Jon Snow is only person. the son of Eddard Stark. he would reject all this. the book Jon would.

So true. Dany worked her ass off to get what she deserves, fought battles for the iron throne and now it seems like Jon simply gets the winnings of Daenerys ahnded to him on a silver platter.

Classic Farm Boy Trope. Its in all the media. Basically Jon is the Luke Skywalker of Westeros.... only not nearly as likable. At least Luke had the adorkable boyish charm thing going for him for the first two original movies. (Even if he did kiss his sister. or she kissed him. Either or.)
Women are just there as props for the male protagonist. and any badassness or power they have is somehow dumb downed or stripped nearly totally from there as soon as said male character crosses their path.

So kill the Farm Boy, maybe he should suffer an accident.

XD. I kill him off sometimes? He died in my long night thing. Honestly I rather attempt to change his story enough that he's not as horrible. Or highlight how shitty he is. Both of which requires him being alive

Not to mention that if the people who claim he has the main right to Iron throne suddenly care about the rightful heir, Jon shouldn't be king of the north. He was seen as a bastard and he still remains king over the three other legitimate Starks in Winterfell. Even if he is the legitimate son of Lyanna and Rhaegar, Ned's children should go first in the line of succession. I'm still bitter about him getting chosen over Sansa.
