Wait a minute does that mean someone is actually working on a fic while supposedly being MIA for the month?

*sniffles* We really feel the love. And also the possible leaks are a real buzz kill and mildly insulting.

When I said mildly insulting I meant that they thought I wouldn't have known that they failed to realize and utilize the amount of possible story threads that could have keep the series going for more than 8 seasons.  And they wouldn't have gone off book as quickly as they had.

I'm not bothered because at the end of the day I'd still prefer the ideas of people far more creative than GoT's creators.  And still be able to follow the careers of those like Sophie Turner and Maise Williams even if I don't agree with the way their stories end on the show.

No CMiller just has too many voices in her head that bicker to the point where she's just over them.  On top of that I've dropped shows for being predictable or in the case of Once failing to follow through on an amazing story they either purposefully wove in or accidentally did but didn't capitalize on it.

Also I've got me some Legend of Korra comics to read which first issue I got and read and it was great.

Your right. There was enough story in the first 5 books to go at least 10 seasons. More since GOT had short seasons already

Or they could have done a season in the Summer 10 episodes that followed what was going on in Westeros while a 10 episode season in the Winter months of what happened in Essos.  For the first book, the second and third books would have been similar or even broken up more into 3 6 episodes seasons covering Kingslanding, Essos, and Riverlands(Robbs and Arya's story arcs)  Back to two seasons a year with Arya in Essos, with Dany and Young Griff, while we hit the action in Kingslanding and the Wall.  And so on.
