According to George RR Martin one of his old ideas was Tyrion/Arya, though it was one-sided from tyrion's side. I kind of want to see how that would turn out.
There would be some interesting interactions between these two if this happened, depending on when it took place. Is this something that would have happened if GRRM didn't have Arya escape King's Landing? Because I don't see how with would take place otherwise, unless Arya went to Mereen instead of Braavos.

They haven't been shown to meet in either the show or the books, but I think Lyanna Mormont / Arya Stark would be an awesome duo. I don't think anyone would survive.
