Greetings all~

First off, let us celebrate for reaching 20 members in this forum!

As the forum grows, meeting new fans of this pairing has been a great treat; all coming together and making things interesting for everyone. It's amazing to find a rare ship turning into a kind community, so for that we thank every single one of you for joining us here in our fun.

That said, we welcome prplmunky as our new Queensguard!

As our shipping elder; kind, level headed, and open to every member who joins, we're excited to have her among our ragtag little group

She helped open the floodgates, and we're only honored to have her here with us~

Again, us Lord Commanders will make sure this messageboard is taken care of, working more on the technical side of things, and keeping the peace. But we do still need Queensguards to make sure everyone feels welcome; inviting everyone, and inspiring everyone in this forum to do their best.

Let's welcome our new Queensguard everyone

Congratulations to you our dear shipping elder and newly knighted queensguard! The old gods of north and the seven of the south chose you to be one of those which will bring the House together as one and even more stronger beyond compare to any valyrian steel bladed swords in the realm. Thank you everyone for all the well wishes and warm fuzzy feelings, it means quite a bit. Last week/end was absolutely crazy and I'm just now getting back into the swing of things (seems like a common theme, I know, and makes me Long for the endless days of summer when I was still a student).

Depending on Starky's remaining involvement (no pressure, I promise!) stay tuned for some activities being turned over to (or invented by, if I get Really creative...) me.

Be the change you want to see in the world.

Because if that's the line that reeled in Starky, someone else could be out there too, waiting for the courage to step forward and share their thoughts and talents.

Ah, the big question.

In truth, although I'd like to stay a member of the board to stay in touch with everyone (and to keep the door open if inspiration returns) I do think that all things considered, it's only right to hang up my white Queensguard cape.

Which won't affect too much, all in all - I'm actually the biggest troublemaker on the entire board anyways

This will mean that the Caption Contest, if it is going to continue, will need to be placed in the capable hands of Munky, Tony and Issa. I already created a few more entries that can be found in the Moderator's forum and used in the coming weeks (or not), that decision will be entirely up to ye three.

And I am banking on Munky Getting Creative in the future and bringing even more good craziness to House Danarya

Oh crap, thanks Starky, I totally spaced because a. inspiration struck, b. I was on call for overtime tonight (thank gods no one called and it's now after 6 and I'm free) , and c. the outside freezer was left partially ajar and Everything Spoiled

Also I am terrible with dates, and had spent all week mentally going "okay, the 29th is the end of the caption contest, after that you need to put in a poll" then wrote down 7/30 on LilMunky's half eaten food packet an hour ago and not even connected the two events.

Note to self: make google calendar alert for caption contest so my electronics yell at me...

Don't worry about the caption contest, or anything else. Go With The Muse! Anything that is not essential must be set aside to continue with your epic OF.

Also... I wince at the freezer spoilage. I had that happen once.. I will never forget the smell >_<
