I take it you liked the episode? I actually thought that the server was Arya even before the reveal. Now I'm waiting to see if Jaimie will end up being the valanqor or if Cercei is right and it really is Tyrion.
As for Jon being named King in the North meh. I'm a little sad that Margaery was killed and wonder about when the rest of the Starks will reunite and look forward to Dany making it to Westeros. Of course Winter has come and the dead come with it of course.
A lot of it was extremely predictable, and the 'telegraphing' for future plot arcs is beyond ridiculous.
However... It was a bit of redemption for Arya - and some proof that she has, in fact, mastered the art of taking people's faces at whim, and CARVING PEOPLE UP WELL ENOUGH TO BAKE THEM INTO PASTRY.
I was trying to be a little sarcastic when I asked if you liked it. Darn written word just doesn't hold the same read as someone's tone of voice if you know what I mean.
I agree that it was pretty predictable. Though I will admit I didn't see Tommen jumping to his death but instead having died in the Sept with the rest.

So true =( ...sorry if I misinterpreted you.
I did say I wouldn't put suicide past Tommen in my predictions in 'Layin' Odds' - but I will be the first to admit I thought his death would be religious-based, not... 'I lost the love of my life and my mentor'-based. Dat was harsh.
Also, I actually am sad that Margaery died.. Seven forgive me, but I would have been more content seeing Sansa die. I liked Margaery. -sighs-
Jon, I can't really see him as king, and I can't really see what's with the hype (I've got nothing against the him personally but I think other characters deserve much more interest than his character have, like say the Lady Mormont, damn that resting b*tch face lol).
IMO, he hasn't really done anything besides 'taming' the wildlings. He's a great swordsman, yes, but he's not that a great diplomat and it was ultimately thru Sansa's move of calling in the Knights of the Vale that they won that battle. Arya even got to the Freys first.
I just hope they won't pair up Jon/Dany argh! Besides, Dany said it herself, apparently she prefers No One, yay! (I deliberately capitalized that, sue me) And Dany/Yara? Psh. Please. That ship has sunk even before they left that receiving room.
And now to our resident assassin. There WAS something fishy about the server even before they revealed her to be Arya. When the scene shifted to her serving Walder Frey (ugh frey pastry), she keeps on saying "my lord" and not "mi lord", I remembered her time as a cupbearer when Twyin made that same observation and I was like "Wait a minute that's...oh, ohhh I'm gonna see a lot of blood in a few seconds" lol She spared Jaime that time though, shame, I was leaning on the theory that she'll kill Jaime, take his face, and kill Cersei, the Mad Queen, with it. Some other time maybe.
I have a feeling Jaqen will be checking in on his apprentice soon . Can't wait for S7!

Jon is a severely overrated character. And if you've been checking past topics on the board, oh, I have made my feelings pretty clear about him. I much prefer him in the novels. The show with its pandering, and the ridiculous fangirls, has pretty much ruined him as a character for me.
And I have so much love for Lil Mormont - but then she jumped on the Jon bandwagon so hard that I literally said 'ugh', out loud, even though no one could hear me.
Arya even got to the Freys first.
Yup. But notice how the Northern lords rushed to claim that Jon avenged the Red Wedding? Like... um... seriously? He's never even been south of fucking Winterfell.
On a high note - Sansa did NOT look pleased at Jon being declared King in the North. Nor should she.

This will likely happen, because Pandering to the Heterosexual Audience. However - if it does happen, it's not going to be some 'happily ever after'. At least - not in the books. Who the hell knows what the show will do, it's on crack sometimes...
Though, one thing that is interesting that may or may not have any meaning in the end game (but would actually support Dany Marrying our No One), is again, at the start of this season, it was emphasized she will bear no children. It is widely speculated that MMD's 'curse' would break after prophecy was fulfilled. But you know - maybe it won't. Wouldn't be the first time we thought there was more depth to something that didn't actually have any. Maybe death paid for life, she is barren, and that is just how it remains. And if that is the case, well, marrying for heirs becomes irrelevant.
And Dany/Yara? Psh. Please. That ship has sunk even before they left that receiving room.
Damn right.

You caught that! Very observant - I really like you

This could still happen. I think though, that she just had to deal with her main target first - but this is actually a pet theory of mine as well, because it would be such a twisted way to fulfill the valonqar prophecy.
...Walder Frey's heirs, hacked up and baked into pies. Served to Lord Walder.
He eats his own children without realizing it.
Then, the expertly carved face is pulled away - and another throat is slit, left dying slowly as a Stark looks down and laughs.
Sorry, Northern lords - 'Bitch Jon' did not avenge the Red Wedding. Arya Stark did.
Better hope SHE doesn't lay claim to the Lord of Winterfell's room....
Oh, and, 'DanYara'? As Dead As Sansaery, bitches.
-micdrop-
::slow clap:: I was wondering if anyone was going to read the obit on Sansaery.
Be the change you want to see in the world.
Because if that's the line that reeled in Starky, someone else could be out there too, waiting for the courage to step forward and share their thoughts and talents. We're really not as scary as you might think

I am wondering if a certain Red Woman is going south (and east, most definitely east) to find the Real Prince That Was Promised.
My OTP for Jon is actually (book canon) Melisandre (and it keeps him away from Dany and being creepy with Sansa...) so this whole burning Shireen and sending your shadowbinder away because Davos has a stick up his ass killed me, but I definitely have an urge to see if there is a group of Dany/Melisandre shippers, and if they are now rejoicing the possibility of their time in the sun as well.

Could be! I do know that while she is there, she may end up crossing paths with a certain former No One, though ("we'll meet again.") And I hope that meeting does not turn out for the worst... because I do like Melisandre.
And thanks to Munky, she is my OTP for Jon as well. And it's taken on a whole new dimension now that Creepy Jon/Sansa has Been Happening. Jon always has liked his redheads...!
I never even considered Dany/Melisandre shippers. Do they exist, Munky? I'd much rather deal with them than the Dany/Yara bunch.

Absolutely right Starky... I don't know what's with the hype on "Bitch Jon" being pronounce by these northern lords as the good ol' f*cking king in the north. Seriously? I'd rather prefer him baring the title "Knower of Nothing". Annnnnnd.... If Arya lays claim being the Lord of Winterfell, she's the best candidate to ever fill the title. Her whole being screams Stark and the North for crying out loud and most especially "The Blood of the Wolf" attributes.
Welcome~ This forum is a place for all Dany x Arya shippers to meet up and discuss the world, the lore, and the wonderful characters who make this ship! Have fun, everyone!
