Well to be fair there is the discord but Lord Commander Revan is deciding to do a revamp of the discord and the forum over the summer so that we can have more activity. The lull in activity is something we are trying to work on.

But in all fairness, I think most of the regulars here chat on the Discord. I prefer drumming up discussions on the forums because I'm a non-PC ass who needs to think carefully before I speak (or type), but you're likely to get a lot more activity if you join in there.

Pardon my ignorance, but I have no idea what Discord is. I may be a millenial, but as far as social media and chat apps go, I am an old fart, oblivious as to what the kids are up to these days. What exactly is Discord and how does it work?
And Starky (is it okay that I call you that?), I'm the same. I'm an anxiety ridden lil' shit who overthinks everything and needs time to come up with a reply (because of sheer fear I would be missunderstood and not express myself correctly and/or, god forbid, I offend anyone), so 'fast' activity is not something I'm super suited for.

Absolutely! When I left the fandom and forum in a fiery blaze I deleted my old account (hence the new handle), but you can call me whatever you'd like. Starky is probably easier for most anyways.

Discord is a messaging site/app for both pc and mobile that caters to gamers but is great for fandom as well. Think msn/yim/aim on crack. As for the changes mention. I'm being all the femslash to the house. More then just got/asoiaf. Tho it'll still be a central theme. There's multiple "townhall"like meetings coming up about it so everyone can have a say cause I'm not a tyrant
