So, fellow gamers, I am putting out The Call! Since I am currently married to my job (a vicious, yet well-paying Harpy if there ever was one), my free time is severely limited. So when I pull out the PS2/PS3/PS4/Vita out for Gaming Goodness, I need to Make It Count.
I have recently finished Dark Souls 3. The Good General was even kind enough to sketch out Arya in the Fallen Knight armor set, which is damn awesome! But now, I have to think about moving on (at least until DS3 expansions come out) - and although Witcher 3 is amazing, I am feeling... The Pull.
The Assassin's Creed Pull.
I have all of the AC games. I only actually played the first one though, years ago. But the urge has struck, and I want to know which I should play now.
I want to imagine hooded Arya climbing up walls and doing crazy parkour moves all in service of her Queen. Which of these games is gonna give me the most satisfaction?
(sidenote - I may get an Assassin's Creed, Essos Edition piece of art commission in the near future, with Badass!Hooded Arya killing Dany's enemies in the Great Pyramid of Meereen)
I am sad to say the latest games have lost their quality, and Ubisoft and I had sort of a falling out (I thought their latest games, and the premise of those games, were sooo boring). The best ones still remain to be Assassin's Creed 2, and the following Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood!
Seriously, I tried going through Assassin's Creed 3, Blackflag, and I skipped Unity and the other one set in London? It's just so not worth it, for me at least. AC2 remains to be my favorite!
(especially since, now I realize, AC2 is all about enacting revenge for your family who was betrayed, and we all know who that reminds us of )
Arya Stark: PARKOUR

Not gonna lie, I've also imagined the same kind of thing happening I wonder if someone is brave enough to write an AU.
AC2 seems to be entirely beloved, and I see the good General supports that claim.

Oh? ...I have to say, that is kinda perfect...
Syndicate, I have to admit, does draw me because I have a love for period piece works. Especially that particular timeframe in London, but I do agree it's not really gonna work for an Avenging Arya Stark vibe.
Thank you both for not suggesting Unity. For the sake of completion I have it, acquired cheaply.. but.. yeah. I have fears.
Well. if you want inspiration of Assassin Arya and Pirate Queen Dany, then clearly, Black Flag is where its at.
Dany by the Docks - The Finished Game Edition!

if I didn't already have a such a backlog of unfinished work I would take a swing at it. But I must leave that one to some New Blood.
That, and everything else is exactly the same. So far, I think the latest AC protagonists (aside from Evie and Jacob, maybe) have been incredibly boring *coughs*
It's the concept itself that's still full of promise. They have this entire world and concept at their fingertips and they're not doing anything creative with it. I heard the newest one is going to be set in ancient Egypt, with another male protagonist -- not a bad thing, but it's just done before so many times, the male protagonists are beginning to coalesce into this one giant... mixture of dudetagonists. Something fresh, different, and exciting is all we ask! xD
(and yep, AC2 and Brotherhood remain to be widely fan faves You do end up getting pissed off at the people who betray you, and feel satisfaction at ending their lives one by one. Those vile traitorous dogs D:< )

I'd take a stab at doing Assassin!Arya too if I wasnt sitting here waiting for a e-mail from my teacher okaying my revisions so I can finish this final project for art history.
Honestly, I'd like to take a stab at drawing AU Arya and Dany in many universes.
The 100: Grounder!Arya and Skyperson!Dany Zombie Survival Arya and Dany The Witcher: Witcher!Arya and Sorceress!Dany Fallout Vault!Dany and Scav!Arya

Let me guess.. Scruffy White Male Protag, (ignoring the fact that it would be Scruffy Brownskin Male Protag) with some sort of tragic back story.
I could do better.
Shunned daughter of _______finds herself exiled at young age, taken in by the order after escaping a attempt on her life by her younger brother and HIS mother. Years later she returns to the capital to untangle the weave of political deception and save her country, prevent the brotherhood's enemy from getting _____, and uncover the secrets to her pass. And unlike most assassins games, she'd wear a headscarff, so her face is totally covered for most of the game, more so when doing the assassin thing.

-sighs- I wonder if they will have a hideout in King Tut's tomb... 'cause I totally don't see that coming >_<
Honestly, I'd like to take a stab at drawing AU Arya and Dany in many universes.
..and.. oh damn.. have to say, some of these are actually already On My Wishlist.
Zombie Survival Arya and Dany (my inner Walking Dead fan rejoices! Arya needs that motorcycle Daryl Dixon currently has) The Witcher: Witcher!Arya and Sorceress!Dany (HELL YES!! GIVE ARYA DA KITTY EYES AND TWO SWORDS AND DANY LOTS OF CLEAVAGE AND POWERS!!) Fallout Vault!Dany and Scav!Arya (because I do love Fallout too)
(awh maan, revanstar already made that stab pun before I did )
Welcome~ This forum is a place for all Dany x Arya shippers to meet up and discuss the world, the lore, and the wonderful characters who make this ship! Have fun, everyone!
