For those whom are observant, you may have noticed that about 2pm PST 2/23/18, we went from 88 Members down to 64.
Thats because I just removed 24 members who had less then six posts, and have been a member since before Dec 1st 2017, and who haven't been online since before Dec 26th 2017 (The date the staff decided to lock the Archives and Art)
Much like locking the Library and the Gallery was done out of aggravation of lurking guest. And concerns about our NSFW content. This Spring Cleaning of the members list is being done because well, this is getting a little ridiculous. Out of the 88 members we had an hour ago. 2... thats right TWO (2/88) people accounted for more then half the total posts in the House. Only Nine (9) had have a post count of more then 100. 9/88. Out of 88 people, the same number of people are actually on Discord.
This is ridiculous. 88 members, and only 9 active people? Maybe a dozen people in total if we count the semi active people?
No no. this just wont do any more. Ours is a small ship. a half dozen hand-me-down used fishing boats next to the armadas of state of the art battle cruisers of OTPs of the GOT/ASOIAF fandom. And unlike those ships, we need you lurkers to come out of the shadows. It doesn't matter if you cant create content, it matters that you join in on the shenanigans, the discussions, the debates, the world building, fan-theory crafting. Its important that you speak up and share your opinions about the show or books, or about the art and the stories being created by the people who do do those things. - I for one would love to hear your thoughts on Frosted Faith or Red Blossoms! Or the dozen of other ideas I got bouncing in my head! and I know others would as well.
After much discussion with other staff members, and the active members of the House, it is with a heavy heart that I must make this announcement.
On March 31st, 2018; Anyone whom does not have a rank of Vassal or Greater / A min of 25 posts, or are not an active member of the House Discord will be locked out of the Library and Gallery as a part of a new policy to promote member activity.
On April 30th, 2018; Anyone whom has failed to check-in in the Introduction thread will be removed from the House all together regardless of post count, or last log-in.
There are many many ways to be an active member of the House Danarya. Including joining and being an active person in the House Danarya Discord. (<--- Click) Being active on the Discord makes means you can access locked content regardless of post count.
And if for some reason you don't think I'm serious about this. Let me restate that I just removed 24 Members before this announcement.
Bare in mind, if you do find yourself removed from the House you can simply rejoin.
