Ehhh. Its a thing we have to accept to a degree when working with canon sadly.
The results of the boatsex are easily worked around of course. Theres ways to change canon to make it so the boatsex never happened, or that the child isnt actually Jon's. Or Jon tragically dies. or... really, its not insurmountable

I personally try to keep in mind that I wouldnt want someone to kill off a character I like simply because said character is half of a pairing they dont like or something like that.
Like there are other ways to deal with Jon and thus eliminate the idea of 'Jon/Dany' from your story without killing him. And I try to bare in mind that Jon could be a fantastic character if you tone down the Gary-sueness of his character.

So, I just thought I'd drop back in to mention that during this particular scene in the books, Dany is also bald.
'Cause GRRM doesn't do the HBO wig bit, and Drogon went ahead and singed her hair (again).
So she's bald and crapping herself.

I avoid the problem by creating AUs I guess. I get to avoid all the unpleasantness that HBO has created.

So Jon kills NK in the process of him dying? (And probably *shockingly* kills Bran who is really NK in the process) and then everything basically good in the world also dies except for Sansa and Arya just trots off into the sunset?

There is a reason why I was able to pump out a 30,000 word fix-it-fic in three weeks. And that was with working. And having to rewrite chapter 2.
Its because S7 was that terrible.
Now. admittedly there were some gems. But other then that....
