I dont hold grudges I swear. Its not like both these classes were the reason why I was forced to drop out of college or anything.

I mostly got lucky in that the classes I loved had the best teachers. But some of the classes I had to take for my major Had a teacher that was going to retire in a couple of semesters and he no longer gave a shit. Another teacher was such a stickler you could not put a toe near the line without it getting chopped off.
I think one of my favorite teachers was my History 101 teacher. She let a lot of shit slide because she taught a 3 hour, once a week evening class. And I think she was also a high school teacher.
Like, after the first day, I walked up to her and was like "Soooo.... I've studied ancient egypt like three times already, and I rather not do it a fourth time... any way I can just not show up and still get credit?" - I ended up having to write a like 1500 word essay instead. Which, honestly, easy shit for me.
Then I explain there was this thing, thats totally relevant to what I'm learning in her class. But its a thing I enjoyed but it was on the same day, at the same time as her class. And basically, so long as I was there during the first hour, and thusly, had my attendance counted. And so long as I did my course work, she really didnt care since it was a mostly lecture course anyways. And the slide show she used were online.
I some how passed that class with a C. Despite the fact I think I only attended one or two full classes the whole term.

Lucky! All the teachers I had required us to be there (with a number of absences usually 3) for participation (anywhere from 100-200 points) and attendance (50-150 points)grades.
